OSHA 30-HOUR ~ Construction

This program is designed for personnel in the construction industry responsible for the safety and health requirements under the OSHA Guidelines (29 CFR 1926). A review of selected subparts (A through X) is covered placing special emphasis on those which have the potential for serious injury and those most frequently cited by OSHA.

This course is designed for Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, Safety Coordinators , Safety Specialists and others who have safety responsibilities on construction sites. Course participants will receive handouts and reference guides which will provide materials and resources they can use on the job.

Topics include:

 Introduction to OSHA, including Competent Person & Recordkeeping

 Cranes, Personnel & Material Hoists

 Electrical Safety

 Employee & Equipment Material Handling

 Excavations/Confined Spaces

 Hazard Communication/MSDS

 Hazard Recognition

 Fire Protection/Emergency Egress

Floor & Wall Openings/Fall Protection

 Ladders & Stairways

 Personal Protective Equipment

 Power & Hand Tools

 Scaffolding

 

An OSHA card and a certificate are issued upon successful completion of the course.

September 17, 18, 19 and 26 & 27

 

Time:

8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (all 5 days)
